The 2007 UNC Executive Cup

On Friday, November 2nd, the University of North Carolina hosted the 31st Annual Executive Cup Golf Tournament at Finley Golf Course in Chapel Hill. It was a beautiful November day for golf, and the golf and camaraderie was trememdous! The winning team (in the photo to the right) consisted of Jim Cooper, Wallace Palmer, Philip Spelman, Mark Andrew, Fred Palmer, and John Spelman.

About the Executive Cup

The Executive Cup is the sole fundraising event for the UNC Golf program. Your contribution goes directly to the operating budgets of the golf teams. Funding the golf program becomes increasingly difficult every year. Your assistance provides the support required for the UNC golf teams to participate in prominent competitions, keeps them adequately equipped to compete against high ranking teams, and assists with the costs of transporting the teams to events. With your help, UNC is able to strive to be the pinnacle of collegiate golf.

Alumni Reunion

2007 continued what has now become a great tradition. On Thursday, November 1st, the UNC Golf Alumni of 1970-1979 gathered for an afternoon round of golf and dinner at The Carolina Inn. Take a look at an online photo album of the event!
